  1. The first sign that something is wrong – it’s TOO quiet. The fans aren’t circulating, the refrigerator isn’t humming, the neighbor’s AC is off… is it another neighborhood power outage, or a serial killer?

      Oooooo, that’s scary! For me it’s the dogs. Their ears go on alert, even if they’re asleep. If they wake up and run for the dog door, I know the game is afoot!
